In this tutorial i am going to explain “How to Deactivate all Plugins from MySQL Database WordPress” , its really useful post because some times we download plugin from WordPress Official site and uses for our blog without any testing , during plugin activation application get stop working due to the conflict & buggy code .
in this case our blog stop working and its directly reflect the users experience , so we have another way to deactivate or disable all plugin using WordPress database and table and blog start working .
I am trying to explain on localhost server and using phpmyadmin to perform this task, by using this techniques you can deactivate all plugin of your blog and start working .
1 ) Enter ” http://localhost/phpmyadmin” browser and you will redirected window of PHP Myadmin .
2 ) Click on Database which you are using for your application .
3 ) click on wp_options Table from selected database .
4 ) Find option_name active_plugin active plugin place on option_id 23
SELECT option_name, option_value
WHERE option_name = ‘active_plugins’
LIMIT 0 , 30
5 ) Click on option value and remove all value after removing value your all plugin will get Deactivated .
Using MySQL Query
UPDATE wp_options SET option_value =’ ‘ WHERE option_name = ‘active_plugin’ ;
Congratulation you have successfully deactivate plugin using database !!
